A typical Irish sky over the sea, changing Irish weather where the sun shines above your head and just across the bay, the rain is coming down. Who knows when the wind will turn and you will get the "soaking"? Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts, is a great useful saying that applies to Ireland.
Sinead's work is based largely on an emotional response from her surroundings, her observation of nature, people and landscapes. She may re-interpret her experiences into real or imagined landscapes or into portraits of imaginary people.
This piece is part of the Moment of Lights exhibition (17th August 2020) at the Puffin Gallery, Ballycastle. We invite you to listen to Sinead's motivation and inspiration into creating this piece whilst Sinead would love you to share your own response to the painting.
Dimensions (unframed): 31 x31 cm
A beautiful gem which would be a lovely addition to your home.
