Robert Spotten - Artist (Fine Art) - Wildlife Paintings and landscapes
A self taught artist, Robert Spotten's interest has mainly been in nature and wildlife. He paints with detail and minutia birds and other animals in gouache with a watercolour background. He masters oil paints equally. Robert has sold his paintings throughout Ireland.
Robert James Spotten started painting at the age of 15, two years later he started his jewellery apprenticeship. In 2012 he obtained a certificate in fine and applied art and went on to complete a BA Degree from the Ulster University School of Art in applied art (jewellery). Some of his work has since been purchased by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland as part of their collection.
