An old abandoned farmhouse, ( probably one of many abandoned during the Irish famine), sheep grazing and gathering around the viewer, in the background the well known Irish hills. This has to be one of my favourite paintings by John Coffey, it would look wonderful over a fireplace, in a nice cosy home.
A fabulous photo-realist painting typical of John Coffey's style. John specialises in painting photo-realistic Irish landscapes with typically local animals such as sheep, swans and deers.
